Figure, Form and Fantasy

Figure, Form and Fantasy

Beauty and age are social constructs, often idealised stereotypes that do not reflect our human reality. We invite the viewer to experience humanity in whimsical, surreal, abstract and realistic styles.
Suzanne Bowers’ wilding-style acrylics transpose to figurative or naturalistic works, reflecting the energies of her idyllic Inman Valley and healing profession as a Bowen therapist.
Rob Gray, OAM, works in a range of media, concentrating on portraiture and the human form, creating figurative works which challenge the media’s stereotypical view of humanity.
Lucie Davison’s analogue or cut-and-paste collage uses found images, which inform her work entirely. She deconstructs the images, exploring their hidden meaning.
